The consistent mantra from anyone associated with indemnity organisations advising on managing complaints will be, “You need to write more notes”. A response to that is the widespread use of electronic notes and with it templates and copy and paste ready made notes. These are clearly time saving devices when much of what we do is largely the same for our patients in terms of procedures.
